Why we built it
Presales engineering is fragmented across spreadsheets, calculators, questionnaires, email threads, presentations, vendor portals, CRM notes and the personal experience of individual engineers. The same customer information is collected repeatedly, manually interpreted, and copied into disconnected documents.
That fragmentation produces inconsistent recommendations, preventable mistakes, wasted spend, and the loss of hard-won technical knowledge every time an experienced engineer moves on.
Sovergence replaces it with one governed system of record: gather the customer's information once, engineer from a trusted source, and reuse that governed information across the entire presales lifecycle.
Our mission
To preserve and expand human technical knowledge so organizations of every size can make safer, more responsible and more defensible technology decisions.
Large enterprises can afford teams of specialized architects, security engineers and compliance professionals. Schools, clinics, local governments, nonprofits and small businesses generally cannot. Structured methodology, manufacturer guidance and governance practice should not be a privilege of scale.
Discovery is the source of truth
Customer-supplied facts, evidence, assumptions, derived values, findings, recommendations, decisions and exceptions are kept distinct — and every downstream object names the exact versions it came from.
Humans hold authority
AI summarizes, drafts and explains. Validation, decisions, approval and release remain human responsibilities, and administrative authority never implies approval authority.
Accountability without paralysis
When a control must be bypassed, an authorized executive can act — and the exception, its justification and its remediation are preserved permanently.
Commercial neutrality
Sovergence does not select winning vendors or profit from a particular recommendation. It improves the integrity of the process through which solutions are engineered and communicated.
